SwaziMUD™ Beads

Our SwaziMUD™ beads are handmade at Project Canaan in Eswatini, Africa by the Khutsala™ Artisans. These beads are made from African mud that is hand-rolled and then baked in a kiln for 8 hours. After the beads are hardened, they are hand glazed and then baked again for another 8 hours turning them into uniquely colored ceramic beads.

Completely Handcrafted in Africa

Each of these unique beaded bracelets is made with SwaziMUD™ beads. These color ceramic beads are hand-crafted by artisans in Africa. The production of these SwaziMUD™ beads provides work for men and women in a country with unemployment estimates up to 70%.

Because these beads and the metal heart on these bracelets are handmade, no two bracelets are alike. Each purchase is truly one-of-a-kind.

Fight Unemployment and Poverty with Each Purchase

Over 50% of the population in Eswatini, Africa is living below the poverty line and make less than $2 per day. Khutsala meanings "hard-working" in the siSwati language.
