These wire beaded elephants have been carefully handcrafted from wire and thousands of beads. The creation of each wire sculpture involves over three African artisans and takes hours of work from each contributor. Each elephant is made with over 4,000 beads!
This African beaded wire animal sculpture is just one in our line of Khutsala™ beaded animals. Proudly display this mom or baby elephant in your office or home and know that you are supporting Khutsala™ Artisans with your purchase. These beaded wire sculptures will be the perfect add-on to your African elephant decor. 100% of the profits go directly to our children at Project Canaan, a place of hope for vulnerable children.
Choose from Mom or Baby sized elephants, or get both and proudly display these sculptures as a set. The elephants make the perfect, unique gift for a neutral nursery!
The creation of each elephant involves a team of three Khutsala™ Artisans. One strings the beads, one creates the frame, and one wraps the beads on the frame. It takes an experienced framer about 3 hours to make one frame, an experienced stringer about 1.5 hours to string the beads, and an experienced wrapper a full day (8 hours) to wrap one frame with beads.
Each of our beaded animals are handcrafted in Eswatini, Africa. Unemployment estimates in Eswatini have been as high as 70%. We currently employ over 100 people at Khutsala™ Artisans. Our mission is to provide each of our artisans with work they can be proud of and help them provide for their families.
100% of all profits from all purchases support the children living at Project Cannan, a place of HOPE for orphans and vulnerable children in Eswatini. Spread hope and support with each purchase you make.
