This adorable ladybug is the perfect addition to your spring collection. Each ladybug is handcrafted in Eswatini, Africa by local artisans. Each sculpture takes over 10 hours to complete and is made with thousands of beads that are hand-strung.
These beaded ladybug sculptures are the perfect, unique decor piece for your office or home. Since each and every one of our Heart for Africa beaded animals are hand made, each and every one is unique and one-of-a-kind. 100% of the profits of all sales go directly to our children at Project Canaan, a place of hope for vulnerable children. Proudly display this ladybug and know that you are supporting a great cause.
Each of our ladybugs takes over 10 hours to create. The process is started by framing the shape of each ladybug with wire. This takes our skilled artisans about three hours to complete. Then, every individual bead is hand strung on to another wire. Finally, Khutsala Artisans carefully wrap the beaded wire around the frame and place each bead into place.
Khutsala Artisan's mission is to provide fair-wage employment to men and women in Eswatini. In a country that has over 50% of its residents living below the poverty line, it is difficult to find fair-wage employment. Each purchase helps support the livelihood of our 100+ artisans.
100% of all of our profits are donated directly to our 2,500-acre farm in Africa called Project Canaan. This is home to over 250 orphans that are in need of support.
