New to our line of authentic, African home décor pieces is this beautiful metal art piece, handmade in Eswatini by Khutsala™ Artisans. Beautiful glass beading wraps around each figure. The heads are our signature SwaziMUD beads. All three figures attached to one large round base making this piece sturdy for any tabletop or shelf.
This item features three abstract figures that represent and give awareness to the reality of child-headed families. In Eswatini, more than half the population are orphans and vulnerable children due to the HIV/AIDS pandemic that has nearly wiped out an entire generation. A child-headed household is one where there are no adult caregivers available and children live on their own. Typically an older child will care for siblings, cousins, nephews or nieces.
Dimensions: 8.5in high and 4.5in wide
In Eswatini, over 50% of the population lives below the poverty level and struggle to find jobs. Khutsala™ Artisans, a Heart for Africa initiative, provides employment for men and women in Eswatini. Over 100 people are currently employed by Khutsala™ Artisans and each artisan is proud of the work they make while supporting their family.
All of the profits from each sale are donated to support the children living on Project Canaan, our 2,500-acre farm in Eswatini. Support these beautiful children in need with each purchase you make.
