When greeting someone in Siswati you say, "Sawubona," which means I See You. The response is YEBO (yay-bo), which means YES, YOU SEE ME. We see people and we want to be a part of bringing them HOPE. Our YEBO keychain is a beautiful statement of saying YES and supporting a great cause.
Each item is handcrafted in Eswatini by Khutsala™ Artisans. Each keychain is started by bending wire to build the frame of the piece. The beads are then hand-strung on to the wire and wrapped around the frame. The meticulous detail that is put into each one of our keychains makes each one unique.
Over 50% of the population in Eswatini is living below the poverty line. Our mission is to decrease this percentage and provide employment for those in Eswatini. Over 80 people are currently employed at Khutsala™ Artisans and since each Swazi provides for 7 other family members on average, over 500 people are impacted in surrounding communities.
