These unique, handmade charcuterie boards are made in Eswatini, Africa by skilled artisans working on Project Canaan. These boards are made out of the beautiful bloodwood in Eswatini!
Bloodwood trees are a native tree of Southern Africa. These trees are known as bloodwood trees because of the tree's remarkable dark red colored sap. As soon as the tree is cut, the sap oozes out making it look like the wood is bleeding. Slightly creepy, 100% beautiful!
This is a perfect board to accompany fine cheeses and other delicious items to share with family or friends come holiday season. Talk about a great housewarming or wedding gift, too!
All of our boards are handmade in Eswatini. In Eswatini, over 50% of the population lives below the poverty level and struggle to find jobs. Khutsala™ Artisans, a Heart for Africa initiative, provides employment for men and women in Eswatini. Over 100 people are currently employed by Khutsala™ Artisans and each artisan is proud of the work they make while supporting their family.
All of the profits from each sale are donated to support Project Canaan, a place of HOPE for orphans and vulnerable children in Eswatini. Support these beautiful children in need with each purchase you make.
