Our SwaziMUD™ beads are handmade at Project Canaan in Eswatini, Africa by the Khutsala™ Artisans. These beads are made from African mud that is hand-rolled and then baked in a kiln for 8 hours. After the beads are hardened, they are hand glazed and then baked again for another 8 hours turning them into uniquely colored ceramic beads.
Each of our bracelets is handcrafted in Eswatini, Africa. Unemployment estimates in Eswatini have been as high as 70%. We currently employ over 100 people at Khutsala™ Artisans. Our mission is to provide each of our artisans with work they can be proud of and help them provide for their families.
100% of all profits from all purchases are donated to support the children living at Project Cannan, a place of HOPE for orphans and vulnerable children in Eswatini. Spread hope and support with each purchase you make.
