The Llama Ornament is hand beaded and crafted in Eswatini by the Khutsala™ Artisans. It is perfect to hang on any tree, give as a gift, or even hang in your car rearview window. 100% of the profits from each sale go directly to support the children living on Project Canaan, a place of hope for orphans and vulnerable children in Eswatini, Africa.
These llamas are handcrafted by skilled artisans in Eswatini, Africa. One artisan starts the process by stringing beads on to a wire. This takes an experienced stringer about 1.5 hours. Another artisan builds the wireframe of each llama. The third artisan wraps the framed sculpture with the beaded string. This takes an experienced artisan a full day of work (8 hours).
The saddle on this adorable llama is made with authentic shweshwe fabric made in Africa. Shweshwe is a dyed cotton fabric that is widely used for traditional South African clothing.
All of the profits from each of our beaded animals, home décor and jewelry is donated directly back to support the children living at Project Canaan in Eswatini, Africa. Our artisans are paid a fair wage for their labor and work hard to support the children living on the Project Canaan farm.
